Iceman (アイスマン) is one of the main characters of Batsugun.
Story[]
Codenamed Skull Black, Iceman (full real name unknown) is a mercenary's mercenary. Ice doesn't care who he works for, or with, so long as the price is right.
Born to the high-rolling CEO of an international conglomerate, Ice recalls very little of his pre-adolescence. An only child, he was homeschooled (due to being afflicted with numerous allergies) and earned his GED at the age of 9. Shortly thereafter, Ice was kidnapped from his parents' luxurious villa by foreign terrorists, who massacred the entire household staff. The kidnappers' ship sank in a storm, on the way to their island hideout; Ice, the sole survivor, escaped to the jungle and hooked up with a series of guerilla factions. There he learned to survive on his wits, resources, and guile. After 8 years, no longer allergic to anything, Ice returned home...only to find that his parents had passed away; their corporate empire had gone bankrupt and had been divided among a number of business rivals.
The ambitious teenager would not resign himself to a life of poverty. He took a job collecting debts for a local oddsmaker and, within a year, was made head of security at the bookie's hotel-casino...which the police then raided. The court sent Ice's boss to jail. Ice himself was given the option of joining the Navy; he promptly agreed and spent the next few years working his way up to fighter weapons-instructor.
After his stint in the Navy, a now-wealthy Ice devoted himself to rebuilding his parents' mega-corporation...which was then subjected to a hostile takeover by the Gladebaran Dynasty. Ice, unflappable as ever, reconnected with some old Navy buddies; they introduced him to the Skull Hornet Corps, where he has repeatedly proven his value...and enjoyed it! (That the job pays 5 million credits doesn't hurt in the least; it also led to Ice's first meeting with the remarkably beautiful Princess Draconis Gladebaran, who had defected to the SHC along with her brother Olisis.)
Born March 31st, 32 years old, AB type. He is 185 cm tall and weighs 80 kg. His hobby is playing with fire (?). When he takes off the sunglasses that are hard to take, ... His favorite food is chocolate parfait (I can't tell people even if my mouth is torn ...) and he doesn't like sour foods. His favorite color is jet black and his disliked color is pure white. His favorite animal is a monkey, and his disliked animal is the army ant (he seems to have a terrible experience). His favorite instrument is bass.
